The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course is an entry level emergency medical provider course that will prepare individuals to treat the victims of illness and injuries while waiting for more advanced emergency personnel. This 48 hour course has been designed to meet or exceed the National Standard Curriculum for Emergency Medical Responder as developed by the United States Department of Transportation, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Contents of this course consist of basic anatomy and physiology, related pharmacology, basic emergency airway maneuvers and adjunct devices, and care of the patient in a multitude of medical and traumatic situations
Assessment and Treatment Of Trauma
The Assessment and Treatment of Trauma (ATT) Course is presented in a convenient 1-day format! It is a concise, highly interactive, and expeditious learning system.
The Precourse Online Module allows students to review essential information related to each type of injury from the comfort of their homes. Learn at your own place at your own pace!
The On-Site portion of the course is not a rehash of the online presentations. Students actively participate in scenario-based, small-group discussions and witness live-action videos. This keeps providers involved and pushes them to think critically about how to approach traumatically injured patients.
